Staggering Chef Outdoors is more than just a funny name (at least to us). It represents an idea and a
dream.
Our goal is to share some of our experiences as we travel through life, some of the people who have
enriched our lives and hopefully whose lives we have enriched.
Staggering Chef Outdoors also serves as a description!
David has long had an interest in cooking and catering. Several years ago, after enduring one lousy
camp meal after another with his hunting buddies, David took a stand and declared himself Camp
Chef. His modest abilities quickly impressed his partners and his spot as Camp Chef became so
entrenched that he couldn't give his position away! David also shares a predilection for good red wine,
especially a Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. On occassion, rare occassion, David has been known to
drink more than is reasonable which causes him to attain an unsteady gait while cooking around the
campfire! Hence the name!
Our Interests
Cindy and I share a love of the outdoors. We especially enjoy a good day of fishing or hiking together.
Several days camping in the great outdoors either alone or with friends only serves to energize our
bodies and charge our minds. Good food during these trips only serves to enhance the experience.
